Christmas Feast ( The Bainbridge Family Tradition )

It was a wonderful time spent with family during Chirstmas and of course feast, feast and feast. As it is a quote The fondest memories are made gathered around the table and it is proven in the Bainbridge family, at least three days and three nights we had marvelous meals and great drinks, laughter and joy shared.

Christmas Feast Menu

The secret ingredient for american food is always cheese 😉. American really love cheese, maybe its same as Indonesian love rice.

Brie Cheese in pastry with cranberry sauce

Cheese slices

Variety of salad

I didn’t snap the salad, but here are Santa Claus & Mrs Claus ( salt & pepper shakers) you can see salad as background 😉.

Prime Rib

Homemade Prime Rib

Oyster Soup & Chicken Noodle Soup

Oyster soup ; simple and good flavor of oyster ( I did’t snap the chicken noodle soup).

Cod fish Gravy

It is an old tradition of the Bainbridge family to have ” Cod fish gravy with bun ” during Christmas. When family first came to South Dakota, they were really poor so having different food like salt cod fish was a special treat for Chirstmas.

Variety of side dishes

  • Pheasant bacon wrap, was so yumm..
  • Mushroom ( my favorite )
  • Variety of cracker and dip
  • And this year the indonesian cuisine join in the feast 😉; Nasi goreng (fried rice)  and spring roll.

On the left : Pheasant bacon wrap, the right side : spring roll

Variety of dessert

  • Home made ice cream ( Cherry cheese cake & Strawberry )
  • Brownies
  • Some sort of chocolate cookies

Last but not least Crab Legs

Crab legs and butter were perfect combination 😍😍

25 pounds of crab legs was not enough, I want more 😜

Bless the food before us, the family beside us

 & the love between us

I didn’t snap all the foods, but all were great, I only too shy always take picture as no one take picture as much as I did 😊😉

Ya Tuhan, itu brie cheese 😀 Makan besar ya, jadi banyak variasi menu-nya. Yang unik buat saya yang kaki kepiting 😀 Anyway, selamat Natal ya, mba. Semoga disegerakan jadi ibu 🙂

    So…jepret2 tetap lanjuuuuttt….hehehehe…
