It’s a most wonderful time of the year 😇❄🎄. I hope everyone had a great Christmas! This year 2016, Matt and I celebrated our first Christmas together and as a married couple 💑.
Here’s a peek at what our first Christmas as the Bainbridge looked like :
Oh, Christmas Tree.
We decided to display Matt’s old Christmas tree and we had starting to set the tree and light since the end of November, I also ordered our first ornament and was so exciting for our first Christmas.
This year we sent and also received quite a few Christmas cards and letter. Reading relatives’ Christmas letters was one of my favorite things in Christmas time.
Bake some cookies together
Frankly I failed to make pretty cookies, as I made Christmas tree cookies but looked like a green snake 🙈 but it was not too bad as beginner. 😜
Christmas movie marathon, date night
Office Christmas party, Christmas Vacation, Four Christmases, Krumpus, The Grinch and of course Home Alone. My favorite is always Home Alone and Matt’s Favorite is The Grinch.
Wrapping the presents and others traditional ornaments
Real Christmas tree and presents under the tree what a beautiful view at Matt’s parents home, the tree is pretty and have a fresh pine smell.
Two years ago Matt sent poinsettia for me in Christmas time and this year we have it in our house, I only know red poinsettia is pretty cheerful plant, but this year I found why we have poinsettia in Christmas time.
Poinsettia meaning the star-shaped leaf pattern is said to symbolize the star of Bethlehem and the red color represents the blood sacrifice through crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
The candy cane gospel : Letter J ; Jesus Christ is the promised savior, shepherd’s staff ; Jesus is the good shepherd, Red stripes ; Christ’s blood was shed for us on the cross, white candy ; our sins were washed away by the sacrifice of a sinless savior.
